SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed concerning the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office dedicated to sassa service the area every day. The services point produced for intervention encounters a higher influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
